Event Description

This workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of marketing, how it integrates within an organisation and how to avoid the most common pitfalls. Design tips for corporate stationery, advertisements (printed and online), flyers and website.It will also cover key points for effective websites, search engine optimisation and an overview of social media marketing.

  • Anyone who has been given some responsibility for ‘marketing’ as part of their job, but who is not specifically a ‘marketer’

  • Undertake a useful level of involvement in the marketing function in small to medium-sized organisations, or work in a marketing co-ordinator/assistant role in larger ones

Interactive workshop

An integral part of the training will involve a practical session using participant marketing concerns relating to their website. To assist this process, a pre-course questionnaire will be emailed to participants to confirm which website they would like to have specific feedback on.
