Southland Chamber of Commerce hosted its second Connected Series Seminar for the year on Monday 9 May. Held at the Bill Richardson Transport World, to members & non members alike, our speaker Jim Boult spoke on tourism in the region, and gave his perspective on the future needs and expectations going forward. While there is huge potential in the future, Jim noted Southland needs a robust plan to attract these ever-increasing tourists to the province. It will be food-for-thought for our Southland Regional Development Strategy team members. If you would like a copy of Jim’s speech notes please contact the Chamber office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
