Join us for our 33rd Administrative Professionals’ Day luncheon on Friday, 7 May 2021.

Guest Speaker, Liam Malone


Liam Malone is nothing short of inspiring.

Liam’s story will surprise and delight. He will share his very personal and raw journey of adversity from having to have his legs amputated at 18 months old, to losing his mother to bowel cancer as a teenager, and his battle with drugs and alcohol - and how he turned it all around to become a gold medal athlete!

The world number one blade-running Paralympian put aside his successful athletic career to follow his passion for technology and innovation which led him to work with internationally renowned artificial intelligence (AI) firm Soul Machines, known for their cutting edge, world leading AI technology. Currently Liam is pursuing his love for media and comedy, presenting inspirational keynotes around the globe.

Liam’s acknowledgements include the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Athletics, Disabled Sportsperson of the Year at the 54th Halberg Awards, and winner of the Sovereign Insurance ‘Make a Difference’ start up competition.

You will take away clear messages around the capacity we all have to make significant change in our lives, through sheer determination and hard work the impossible is achievable. Learning from our failures not letting them define us.

1. How do I pay for tickets?

Please DO NOT pay by credit card on registration. An invoice will be issued by the Ascot Park Hotel, and payment options include credit card, internet banking and cash.

2. Do you need to know names attending?

If you would like to enter our spot prize draw include your guests names when registering or you may email names to once they are confirmed

3. Do I need to advise you of any severe dietary allergies?

Yes. We need to know all dietary requirements by 4pm Friday, 23 April.

4. What’s the refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable, substitution are very welcome. However, a full refund will be available if this event is postponed/cancelled due to safety and health of guests relating to Covid-19.

5. Do I have to bring a ticket to the event?

No. Physical tickets will NOT be issued for this event.

6. Is it okay if the name on my registration does not match the person who is attending?
